About Us

Established in 1994, Cloverdale Childcare is a non-profit childcare center located in Victoria, BC, dedicated to providing quality care and education for children. Over the years, our center has grown significantly and now accommodates up to 200 children.

Our Journey:

• 2006: Launched a Preschool program that rapidly expanded to offer three distinct classes.2024: moving these classes into half-day early years classes, including Pre-K and a dedicated class for 3-year-olds. and in 2025 Began offering before and after care for our early years classes, providing comprehensive support for families.

• 2010: Introduced a Group Daycare operating during school hours to better serve our community’s needs.

• 2022: Expanded to a new site in Vic West, known as Meadowside, to extend our reach and services.
  
  

Our Team:

Our staff comprises qualified professionals who have undergone criminal record checks and hold valid first aid certifications. Each team member has completed a minimum of 20 hours of specialized training, with ongoing professional development opportunities available. Our Early years  educators are certified Early Childhood Educators and Assistants, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children.

Licensing and Compliance:

Cloverdale Childcare is licensed by the Vancouver Island Health Authority and operates in full compliance with the B.C. Child Care Regulations. Our commitment to maintaining these standards ensures a safe and nurturing environment for every child.

Governance and Inclusivity:

As a non-profit society, our center is governed by a parent board of directors, reflecting our community-centered approach. We accept child care subsidies and pride ourselves on being a inclusive program. Collaborating closely with families and local schools, we strive to create the best opportunities for all children in our care.
